Through hands-on listening exercises, recording exercises, and class labs, students will gain the technical skills needed to create and edit sound to picture using microphones, recorders, and Pro Tools editing and mixing software. In-class screenings and discussions will explore creative ways of communicating a sense of space, perspective, character and tone through sound in both narrative storytelling and conceptual filmmaking.
